Dr. Alexander Ruschke is a German Patent Attorney, European Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney. He has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2015 and has experience in national and international patent prosecution and litigation.

His technical background is a Diploma in Physics from the Ludwigs-Maximilians Universität (LMU) in Munich. Further he has a PhD, earned in the field of High Energy Physics within a fellowship of the German Research Foundation (DFG). During his doctorate he had the opportunity to undertake several research placements at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva. His doctoral thesis in experimental physics encompassed work in the areas of electronics development, measurements in the nanosecond range and programming.

Alexander´s intellectual property work includes drafting of patent applications, dealing with notifications at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and at the European Patent Office. He also prepares and attends opposition and appeal proceedings.

Alexander´s areas of technical expertise include application-oriented physics, especially semiconductor physics, software, information and communication technology and electronic control systems.
